Hide: House-eey

For the latest 16th album, I used Retro instruments 500PRE in the mastering analog path to add subtle saturation and I was thinking it was fitting my sound. But I realized the sound distorted a little too aggressively even if I dialed in a very small amount of the input under the “LOW Gain” as well as lost a little lower frequency tone.

I switched back to the Rupert Neve Portico 542 again. I think my first choice wasn’t bad, I mean it was the best for me that I just noticed finally.

Now I’m thinking about remastering the latest 16th album…
I remastered all songs of the 16th album with 542! :)
