/var/log/Too many crises

In this world, especially after COVID-19, I just feel we are experiencing so many crises more than before that maybe it feels for only me but I’m feeling strongly these days. I’m Japanese but I really love the US especially Southern California around LA, and I lived there for around 10 years between the late 90s to 2000s. Everything was so comfortable for me and enjoyed living so much that is my experience. Sometimes I wish I were living in LA again but I see so many crises there recently and feel so disappointed. It seems people are ruining people, hate, a gun problem, drug, burglary, mob retail thefts… At least some of locations aren’t very safe but not only today I know.

But… it’s too many than since I was living there!!

I know that Japan, also experiencing many crises more and more, and it seems the problem is caused by SNS services this is why I left from the popular SNS such as Facebook, Twitter(X), and so on. Now I’m on Bluesky but maybe OK at the moment. I don’t know but if Bluesky becomes the same situation as Twitter(X), I must leave there again. This is why I still have my website and write something here and I can keep my idiot posts. Haha.

Anyway, I still love and wish to be there again but I feel it is super difficult for a while even just to visit there such as the sightseeing.

What is going on there!?

Here are some of the pictures when I was in LA. I know the great old-day never back again but I hope we will get back to the great era again!

Walking LA
So many people were walking with friends, families, and partners, without touching a stupid-smart phone. Now the smartphone is some of your friends. Don't worry I really know it.
Freeway
I didn't have any gun shooting problems on any freeways.
Pacific Ocean Beach
Beautiful Pacific Ocean. I know it's there still now! That isn't changing and that's one of the relief things.
Driving local LA
Some drivers weren't good drive a car but usually no worries about driving at night as well. (Excluding the scary places.)
Isuzu Storm
It was my first car in LA. I really loved it! I changed the wheels and car stereo with a cool sub-woofer. I know the recent car is not using "DIN" compliant anymore which means we can't replace/customize the car stereo anymore. What a boring generation!

Couldn’t see the COLOR from these pictures? Why not you can give it a try to “image” in your brain.
