The new 17th album “faraway seventeen mile” has been released!
In this album, I played the fretless bass guitar and connected to the audio interface (RME Fireface UCX II) directly via the XLR without any outboards. As I already posted in the previous one that explaining I just noticed the direct connection to the audio interface that is very unique and the “WAL” bass guitar sound is so pure! I wanted to comp, EQ, and a chorus effect to add the bass tone these were all the VST plugins.
All songs are composed using Reaper by the way. It’s a super CPU-friendly DAW, also really easy to use, and very stable. I didn’t have any single trouble with it that is the perfect tool. I don’t need a funny look or any “too much feature set” but just want to have a “runs perfectly every time” tool that is what Reaper does.
By the way, I don’t care about the music “theory” or “rule”, but I focus on the “emotion” to create the song. Always the “my old memory” helps me to compose so the sound is like… outdated I know.
Anyway, I don’t think everyone likes my song but that is OK because it’s like my diary and I just published it as always.
Thanks for listening!
