Maybe I’m still falling down the rabbit hole of DAW finding. Haha. Renewed my Bitwig license recently which expired about 3 years ago, and now I’m on version 5.2.

I was using it before but the faders were too small for me so stopped using it. I decided to use Bitwig again because the Mixer screen was improved… huge improvement for me! :-)

However, I skipped upgrading to Reason 13 at this point and I stay with my Reason 12 because I don’t need new features. I currently use Reason as the Rack Plugin(RRP) so I didn’t need the sequencer improvements.

I’ve already composed 3 new songs(not published yet) used Cubase 12 but I don’t know I’ll use it continually. Cubase 12 may be OK but the new Cubase 13 has changed GUI which isn’t good for me. I don’t think Cubase will ever go back to the previous GUI anymore so it’s hopeless in the future. I know I can still use Cubase 12 but there is no guarantee that it’ll work with the latest OS and PC environment. This is why I was looking for another DAW again to continue upgrading for the future.

Anyway, I’m on Bitwig now and a lot of fun to compose with it, and it’s working very stable. That’s super important to me. ;-)
